Troubleshooting Double Bookings
The way Sesami is set up, double bookings should not occur in your account with the exception of the two following scenarios:
- You have multiple team members assigned to that time slot.
This is usually by design for stores that book group classes or have multiple team members (like barber shops) at the same time.
- If two customers have chosen the same time slot and are doing checkouts at roughly the same time (before actual purchase).
If this is the situation, unfortunately the first client that checks out from their cart will take the time slot and be assigned to the team member normally and the other client, once they check out, will be assigned to “no one“.
Script Addition Request
If you have a high volume store (such as a pop-up store that sells services at a limited time such as a sale), and you would like us to install a script to prevent double booking from happening in your account, simply fill out our Submit a Request form, which is linked below. Choose the option Script Installation and please indicate it's for the double booking script.
Depending on the workload for the week, please allow for 3-5 business days for this to be installed on your account. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us!
