Enabling the reservation period
When enabled, the Sesami App will hold the slot reserved for a time until the checkout is complete or the time expires.
It's an important tool to help to prevent double bookings!
You can enable and set how long a reservation period will be held for under:
Sesami > Settings > Reservation period.
The following options are available:
- Disabled
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 60 minutes
Holding a time slot when a customer adds it to the cart.
In Sesami, you can set time slots to be "reserved" on the calendar when that slot is chosen by a client but has not been purchased yet.
There are two active states during this reservation period:
- "Reserved" state (pre-purchase)
- "Booked" state (after purchase)
During those states, that timeslot will be deducted from the available amount by 1 when it's added to the cart. So if there is just one booking available per time slot, that time slot will no longer be available for subsequent customers.
