A resource can be: staff members, rooms, tools, equipment... or anything that needs to be scheduled!
Combining resources can also be applied and is useful for complex appointments that require multiple staff, rooms, tools or equipment simultaneously.
The Resources feature allows businesses to assign multiple calendars to a single service.
👉 Couple massage: Requires two therapists and a specific room with two massage beds.
👉 Photography session: Requires a photographer, a studio, and equipment.

* Selectable in Experience: By enabling this option, you will let the customer to select the available team or book with any available team member (*the assignment will be random)
* Blocks during booking: By selecting this option, the resource will be marked as unavailable for other bookings during the scheduled appointment time.
Once set up correctly, Sesami ensures that all assigned resources are available for the time slot to be shown on the Calendar to customers. If even one resource is busy, that slot won’t be displayed.
💡 Block Out Dates (like Public Holidays)
Want to block certain days —like public holidays, store events, ...
Create a new Resource ("Holiday Blocker")
In the resource's availability settings, make the dates unavailable on specific dates you want to block (e.g., December 25th, January 1st).
Assign the "Holiday Blocker" resource to the services you want blocked on those dates.
When customers try to book, Sesami checks this blocker resource too. Since it's set as unavailable on holiday dates, no time slots will appear for any service linked to it.
